About us
We are architects, interior designers and urban planners. We founded OLA (Oficina Local de Arquitectura) in the Val d’Aran (Pyrenees) under the slogan “Local mindset with a global vision”. After working in the Netherlands and China for several years, we returned to our most beloved place with international references and absolute respect for the high mountain environment.
At OLA, we design contemporary buildings – from private homes to the contract sector, including public facilities – with this context in mind and incorporating new technologies and working methods.
We seek logical and adaptable solutions, with sustainability and industrialisation as fundamental pillars; we use regional, low-emission materials and design to create healthy, efficient and resilient spaces, always thinking of the people who will inhabit them.
- We unlock the potential of a place to adapt to the new century
- We understand and plan the territory as a synonym of evolution
- We develop architectural designs with a contemporary and local vision
- We intervene in public facilities to give them a new life
- We make the interior of the building accompany its exterior
